We are a non-partisan network of civic associations, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, and labor groups that develop the leadership capacity of their members to effect change on a larger scale than they could alone. The Sponsoring Committee is affiliated with the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF), the nation’s largest and longest-standing leadership development and organizing network.
